The seminar in Belgium “Doing business in Ukraine: What happens after the crisis?”

February 23, 2010 the seminar “Doing business in Ukraine: What happens after the crisis?”, organized by the East Flanders’ Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VOKA Chamber of Commerce East Flanders), was held in Ghent (Flanders, Belgium).

 Audience of the seminar consisted of representatives from more than 20 Flanders’ companies interested in the prospects of doing business in Ukraine.

Deputy Director of InvestUkraine Maxym Ivanov and Acting Head of Investment department Anna Vlyalko informed Flanders’ entrepreneurs about investment opportunities in Ukraine and promising areas for investment cooperation and told about the activities and principles of work of InvestUkraine.

CEO of the law company Peterka&Partners Alexander Poels presented the legal environment of doing business in Ukraine.

Partner of the company Skelia (outsourcing services) Patrick Van de Valle spoke about his own positive experience of doing business in Ukraine (Lviv).

At the end of the event VOKA’s representatives showed interest in further development of business relations, expressing their willingness to visit Ukraine.
